Hmmm. I explored my system a bit, and did find 3 contemporaneous files that may bear on this, at /var/crash/_usr_lib_byobu_include_config.py.1000.uploaded /var/crash/_usr_lib_byobu_include_config.py.1000.crash /var/crash/_usr_lib_byobu_include_config.py.1000.upload
Two of these are empty, but the one suffixed .crash is appended.
