Public bug reported: Suddenly after compiz upgrade to newest on Ubuntu 16.04, the unity no longer starts after log in - all I can see is the desktop with launcher icons, but no app list bar, no upper menu bar; SUPER does not start dash, no hotkeys work and I cannot even launch terminal. Please help. This only manifests on my account - other user accounts seem to be unaffected and properly start the unity session.
