Public bug reported: Module used : snd_hda_intel Device : 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02) System : Ubuntu Gutsy (should be the same with older release)
Step to reproduce : - Open an audio file, and hear it from speakers - Mute sound (with gnome applet for example) : it will mute Master channel => Sound won't be mute - Do the same with headphones (or just plug headphone) => Sound will be mute This bug is NOT a duplicate of bugs related to outputs on speakers and headphones at the same time. Here speakers are mute when headphones are plugged. This bug is maybe link with the fact that volume level doesn't change from about 0 to 50% (on both speakers and headphones outputs). ** Affects: alsa-driver Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: alsa-driver Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sound : mute only work with headphone (don't mute while using speakers) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151108 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
