Public bug reported: I have recently noticed the following warning about the force-yes option being deprecated and a notice saying to use one of the --allow options instead in the Ubuntu installers:
force-yes_old_option_warning.png The installer was an Ubuntu (Unity) 16.04.1 installer, but I'm sure I noticed this with the 16.04 installer as well (I don't remember if I noticed it before that installer, but I think that me noticing this is quite recent), and obviously not just with Unity. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: xenial ** Attachment added: "force-yes_old_option_warning.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1619949/+attachment/4733692/+files/force-yes_old_option_warning.png ** Description changed: I have recently noticed the following warning about the force-yes option - being deprecated in the Ubuntu installers: + being deprecated and a notice saying to use one of the --allow options + instead in the Ubuntu installers: - force-yes_old_option_warning.png + force-yes_old_option_warning.png The installer was an Ubuntu (Unity) 16.04.1 installer, but I'm sure I noticed this with the 16.04 installer as well (I don't remember if I noticed it before that installer, but I think that me noticing this is quite recent), and obviously not just with Unity. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1619949 Title: "force-yes is deprecated" warning in 16.04.1 installer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1619949/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
