Hi. I vote this to be nominated for RC(!) Gutsy release. This is very dangerous, annoying 95% (or more) of installer, and I think&hope - easy to repair. It IS working on other distros: feisty, Etch, Sarge, FC5+6+7 ... Thanks much anyone.
