i also can't boot after 22-13 kernel. 20-12 is ok. i've noticed that boot everytime stops in different places. Most often on "searching(?or smthng) for files needed to boot". I have Asus x50m, wifi swithed off, no usb-disks, no mmc/sd/ms - cards. P.S. A couple of boot attempts stops only when KDE started. One time on "services", another on "peripherals". P.P.S.
