It looks like syncing from Debian would remove the following changes:

-    - Add support for Ubuntu’s location of Chromium settings.
-    - Suggest chromium-browser instead of chromium.
-    - Do not suggest hal.

Can you (or somebody) take a look at confirming if they are still
required and if yes, prepare a merge of syncing and dropping these
changes?
