Checking on my system, lxc isn't actually installed (lxd is). Will the lxc changes take effect when the latest lxd trickles through to xenial- updates?
Also, my confusion was increased by the fact that the https://linuxcontainers.org/lxd/news/ page announces that on the 5th of October lxd 2.0.4 was released. It was also released on 15th August! I assume that the release a couple of days ago was actually lxd 2.0.5?
