AFAIK it has only the basic support that was in alsa 1.0.14 which, at least for me, does not work. If you see at the famous patch_realtek.c file: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=blob;f=sound/pci/hda/patch_realtek.c;h=9a47eec5a27bb27a7f24c00d7ab9189cb34ac98c;hb=bbf25010f1a6b761914430f5fca081ec8c7accd1 there is only ALC268_3STACK and _AUTO models, nothing about _TOSHIBA od _ACER submodels. I have sound working with 2.6.23 kernel plus the patch here: ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/akpm/patches/2.6/2.6.23-rc8/2.6.23-rc8-mm2/broken-out/git-alsa.patch that I think will be pushed to 2.6.24 at an early stage of development. -- Romano Giannetti <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- No audio INTEL HD audio - Realtek ALC268 codec - Toshiba A205-S4577 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116326 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
