...but the metadata that someone made a connection from my ip is present
on their servers.  It is a 'well known trick' yes, but one that relies
on betraying our metadata to a 3rd party known for betraying the privacy
of its users, nevermind those who are accidentally opening sockets
without realizing what they are doing.
