Thanks Yan Your responses point towards a module (driver) problem (yes bug) to me, and my 'dirty-workaround' won't help. I'll give it some thought and play around with the wireless on my x201 & t43 (closest I have to your t460) & see if I come up with anything. ps: today/tomorrow i'm unlikely to be on web; so expect response (my) thursday or later.
