I know this is an old bug but i don't know if I should open another or not...
I have a Dell E5999 running Ubuntu 16.04 with Mainline kernel
4.7.5-040705-generic and I'm facing the same issue but with some extra stuff:
if I connect my headphones when I'm in ubuntu, the pc shuts down and in bios
log i get the "ASF2 force off" msg. This only happens if the charger is not
connected and only happens in ubuntu, windows works fine.
I don't know I shoult attach more info, please tell me if is needed.
Thanks
