I can reproduce this and several other similar kernel oopses with my WiFi card (BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter) reasonably easily. I'd like to help diagnose it, or fix it, if I can.
I'll try the upstream kernel in a week or two but I'm running an experiment on the machine right now. Is there any info I can add here or should I create a new bug? I am on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS with `uname -a` giving: Linux <redacted> 4.4.0-38-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 6 15:42:33 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1631143 Title: WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 19147 at /build/linux- R0TiM8/linux-4.4.0/net/wireless/sme.c:714 __cfg80211_connect_result+0x3b2/0x420 [cfg80211]() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1631143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
