Just a Postscript to my original message above (#55), in case it is of help to anyone else:-
the bug fix and update has worked for me. I did a fresh install using bacula-director-mysql, followed by 'bacula-client' followed by 'bacula- sd-mysql'. My system has been backing up for a week now with no problems exhibited with regards to this bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1570923 Title: bacula-dir won't start with "undefined symbol: mysql_init" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bacula/+bug/1570923/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
