I just rebooted (because I wanted to make sure that it didn't just
happen on the first boot after a theme change), but now it appears that
the panels are still gone. Can someone else try changing some parts of
your theme (maybe window border, controls, etc.), and then reboot? I
wonder what the cause could be... is there something that gets
overwritten when you change those aspects of a theme? Is the compiz fix
simply focused on the theme that is active when you install it? That
sounds unlikely, but I'm not sure why this happened.
