The fact that suspends with fglrx cause hard crashes is not even mentioned. However, "intermittent lockups" with i810 are mentioned, along with a workaround. I have the feeling that ABSOLUTELY NOBODY officially involved with Ubuntu has been following the five hundred million reports (a slight exaggeration, of course) concerning the fglrx+suspend lockup. Nice! We don't even get a mention in the release notes.
