The Debian package of 1.2.1 is in Alioth awaiting sponsorship; once uploaded there it will automatically be imported to Ubuntu zesty (current development), but not existing releases.
This might work in 16.04, but has *not* been tested: git clone https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-opencl/beignet.git cd beignet sudo apt-get install build-essential debhelper cmake libgl1-mesa-dri clang-3.8 libclang-3.8-dev llvm-3.8-dev ocl-icd-dev ocl-icd-opencl-dev pkg-config python3 libdrm-dev libxext-dev libxfixes-dev libx11-dev ikiwiki #-d because clang-3.9 isn't available or needed in xenial dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -d sudo dpkg -i beignet*.deb I don't see any reported 1.2.0 -> 1.2.1 regressions on the upstream mailing list or bug tracker; I do see at least one 1.1 -> 1.2.0 regression, but zesty and Debian already have 1.2.0. ** Changed in: beignet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1642887 Title: Request beignet upgrade to 1.2.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/+bug/1642887/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
