Public bug reported: Release: Kubuntu 16,10 Package version:konsole: Installed: 4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1
Expected behaviour: Editing the default profile for konsole to change the background colour and font works for the duration of the current session. I expected that these config changes would be persistant across re-booting. Actual behaviour: Upon re-booting, konsole has reverted to the default settings. Upon a fresh install of 16.10 today and editing the konsole profile yet again, I finally got a pop-up window telling me that $HOME/.local/share/applicatins/desktop/ cannot be written to. That's because $HOME/.local/share/applications/ doesn't exist. Creating that directory fixed the issue. ** Affects: konsole (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1643115 Title: Konsole does not retain config customisations across sessions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/konsole/+bug/1643115/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
