Public bug reported:

After making several changes to connection settings like remote hostname
and password and several restarts of `transmission-remote-gtk`, changes
to the configuration settings suddenly have no effect and, i.e. opening
the connection settings dialog shows the values before the changes.
Restart of `transmission-remote-gtk` doesn't help.
