I can confirm this behavior with latest update: computer ran fine after it until I left my computer for lunch. When I came back, I found it "freezy" on the screensaver.
Rebooted (Ctrl+Alt+Print Sceen+B), used the computer for ten minutes and it freezed again when I resized a window. No Avant-Window-Navigator running at all. I was tracing syslog using ssh, here what the freeze gave me: Oct 13 15:30:49 gromit kernel: [ 2326.662649] NVRM: Xid (0002:00): 26, Ch 000001ff M 00001ffc D ffffffff intr ffffffff Then ssh server went down.
