Can we validate there is actually an erroneous newline in the string? `pwgen 16 1 | grep -F "\n"` yields no matches for me.
I think *whatever* to bogus character is, we should have a way to generate a random string with a bytesize of an arbitrary number. EG `pwgen -b 16 1` would generate a string of 16 bytes.
