I don't know if it is a regression, or just the fix not totally fixing the problem...
At least some of the time, I get very few lines of download progress, even when maximized, and even if maximized, the install details don't seem to occupy more than 1/2 the possible height. At least once, I had just the one (partial) line for download detail. If I recall correctly, one CANNOT maximize until "details" is clicked upon, I think (I cannot verify any of this until the next time that there are multiple packages to update) that if I wait to long to hit "details" and "maximize" that I get VERY few lines of install detail. I STILL wish there were a way to config this to ALWAYS SHOW DETAILS and ALWAYS maximise the download/install window. ----------------------------------- scott@scott-ASUS-M2N68-AM-PLUS:~$ uname -a Linux scott-ASUS-M2N68-AM-PLUS 4.8.0-29-generic #31-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 30 19:13:21 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Lubuntu 16.10 Yakkety Update-manager 1:16.10.8 aptdaemon 1.1.1+bzr982-0ubuntu16.16.10.1~yakkety1.0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1623856 Title: Scrolled Windows in update-manager are too small to read To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/aptdaemon/+bug/1623856/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
