If we back out the patch, your original bug will return, correct?  Was
the original bug a regression?  If it was, we can bisect to find the
commit that caused the original bug and then back out that commit and
commit 4c63c2454eff996.

The alternative is to perform the testing in comment #33, and see if the
second bug introduced by commit 4c63c2454eff996 is fixed already.  If it
is not, we can relay this information upstream and contact the author of
commit 4c63c2454eff996.
