mpt3sas (and earlier mptsas/mpt2sas) as shipped doesn't support ata
secure erase:

The running kernel lacks CONFIG_IDE_TASK_IOCTL support for this device.
SECURITY_ERASE: Invalid argument

can we get it pulled into Ubuntu asap?
