Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
On my Toshiba A100, when I try to change the brightness in Gutsy's power
management dialogue, the display flickers between two states (bright and
dim). THe same behaviour occurs on battery or mains power, but the
bright and dim are both brighter on mains.
On mains I have the choice of bright and dim, with bright being at the 100%
mark.
On battery I have the choice of bright or dim (but both are dimmer than on
mains), and the bright spot is around 70% on the slider.
