At the moment it is not really an issue for us, as we apply the above mentioned workaround: $ cat /usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/40-kde-plasma-kf5.conf [SeatDefaults] user-session=kde-plasma-kf5 Let me know if you need further information.
