Public bug reported:

After installing Ubuntu 7.10RC from scratch I get the GRUB menu as I
have with previous releases. Selecting to boot ubuntu gives a message
about not being able to find anything to boot. Selecting Windows Vista
(dual-boot system) I get a message about not being able to find NTLDR.
Thus I have to use recovery and repair the MBR. Sorry for the scarce
information, but it's hard to get much info as the system never boots.
If this is something new and will be looked into, I will be able to
provide more details if someone tells me how.

Note that 7.04 worked perfectly on my system.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
