Hi Scott, I didn't know about blacklisting; did that now. Like indicated in my second comment though, removing that module obviously didn't _really_ solve the problem. I can only stop the cyclic connecting-and- disconnecting through killing udevd, which then prevents Barry from finding the device at all...
At least Slax doesn't ship berry_charge; I think they don't use udevd, too, but will have to check on that this afternoon. As for openSUSE, that lasted about 10 minutes on my harddrive.
