It's that annoying. > what would happen if we simply deleted/rename the synaptic driver module? I don't know. It might break the mouse driver completely since as far as I can tell it's the psmouse driver itself that does Synaptics probing (see http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/drivers/input/mouse/psmouse- base.c). Although I understand your reluctance to fiddle, it would help if you could try the last workaround to see if I missed any steps. And if it works you can take off the band-aids :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1506817 Title: left TPP/2 IBM TrackPoint "sticks on" randomly (X250 15.04) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1506817/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
