Public bug reported:

My system is Gutsy, strigi 0.5.6.

While I had some issues with strigidaemon at version 0.5.5-2 it worked fine
after the upgrade to 0.5.6.
Now, just after booting, strigidaemon filled the RAM and swap completely (1.5G
of swap were full) rendering the system almost unresponsive. strigi:/status
showed "documents index" = "words indexed" = -1.

It may be of relevance that an fsck was performed at boot before
strigidaemon showed this behaviour.

Although there are several bug relating to strigidaemon crashing, it did
not crash.

** Affects: strigi (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
