Public bug reported: Binary package hint: language-pack-en-base
Catalogs of locales (/var/lib/locales/supported.d/*) to be generated should IMHO reside in /etc and be subjected to the same rules as other configuration files (be tagged as configuration file). What I mean is if administrator changes locales to be generated it should preserve (or be asked not to be) even after language-pack-*-base is installed or upgraded. ** Affects: language-pack-en-base (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- /var/lib/locales/supported.d should reside in /etc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152945 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
