Hi LeGrand, You don't need to "go" to DkgTerminalLog.txt in order to fix the problem. The file contains just the description of the problem.
If you want to fix the problem do the following in a console (the lines starting with "> ", typing only the command after this, without the > ): > echo $USER # This shows what is your username, you will need it later > sudo apt-get remove --purge kismet # This will totally uninstall the kismet program along with every configuration > sudo apt-get install kismet # This will install the kismet program. When it asks for your username, then type what you got in the first step (of echo $USER). If you follow the above steps, then your installation should be OK. Please comment here if you succeed or if you need additional help. ** Changed in: kismet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1661165 Title: package kismet 2013.03.R1b-3build1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kismet/+bug/1661165/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
