Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Release: 16.04
The option --with-cplusplus-extensions is omitted from dh_auto_configure in debian/rules packaging file. This makes using libgenders with c++ applications difficult. Adding an appropriate subpackage and dependencies to enable the c++ wrapper library would be very useful for C++ users. I pulled the current source package genders_1.21-1build2_amd64.deb and rebuilt with modified rules and *.install files to include libgendersplusplus and gendersplusplus.h. Potentially affected packages if requested library is added: genders_1.21-*.deb libgenders0-dev_1.21-*.deb libgenders0_1.21-*.deb and similar in later releases of ubuntu. ** Affects: genders (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1662649 Title: genders package omits libgendersplusplus.so support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/genders/+bug/1662649/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
