Gerry, We have somewhat commandeered this bug. It's being experienced on Intel graphics by most people, despite the description mentioning nvidia up top. There is a separate bug (which I can't find right now) for nvidia driver failures, but given Mir doesn't actually support the Nvidia driver yet I find that part confusing too.
