Not sure how useful the previous information will be, since they are not from the kernel that is having problems booting. I'm attaching the last messages displayed before my machine hangs on bootup to this file, which will hopefully be more useful. Unfortunately, only a portion of the messages relating to that PCI device are shown. I think there are more before that, but it's hard to get a bead on them as they're flashing by. NOOB question: is there a way to go through those messages more slowly?
