** Description changed:

  If you open calculator and type two numbers or more (not one) you can
  not read the numbers. All you will see is one big blob. I am running
  Ubuntu 17.04 with latest updates. One update seemed to cause this. Also
  this bug comes up sometimes in gedit and affects the whole distro. I can
  not mark this as affects all distros because launchpad gives an error
