Public bug reported: Some information about my system :
lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Release: 16.04 apt-cache policy vlc vlc: Installé : 2.2.2-5 Candidat : 2.2.2-5 Table de version : *** 2.2.2-5 500 500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I installed Ubuntu few weeks ago and I can't use VLC as I did with previous versions of Ubuntu. I'm playing music from a webradio with VLC. After a delay my computer enter in sleep mode. The delay is the delay I choose in the Ubuntu's settings. I expected my computer to stay on while VLC is playing something (audio, video). I checked the vlc's parameters with the UI and they seems to be good. See the captures attached to this message. I checked the vlc's parameters in the file ~/.config/vlc/vlcrc and the result is strange : see attachment, lines 4071 (power management) and 3696 (screensaver). These lines seem to be good, but are commented. ** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Capture du 2017-02-16 15-14-38.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1665362/+attachment/4820204/+files/Capture%20du%202017-02-16%2015-14-38.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1665362 Title: vlc don't stop the power management and computer enter in sleep mode while vlc is active To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vlc/+bug/1665362/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
