I am experiencing this bug while using Ubuntu 16.10 with LibreOffice 5.1.4.2. LibreOffice Calc takes a good 30 or so seconds to start when opening local files and pauses again for 30 seconds after every key press, this can be reproduced every time on my system by transferring a large file over to a SSHFS or SMB share and then opening any calc document. Once the transfer is completed or stopped libreoffice performs fine again.
