I get the same error message when attempting to export to pdf with freeplane 1.5.18-1 on Ubuntu Zesty. I was also able to reproduce this issue on Debian Sid so I have forwarded the issue (see attached bug watch). Btw, could you run the following command in a terminal (in order to automatically collect additional debug information and add it to this bug report): apport-collect 1666672 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected.
