Public bug reported:

It seems that my thin client (Core2Duo 2.0Ghz) is a bit to fast to boot and
that when reaching the point where the cdpinger and pulseaudio should be
started /dev/dsp and /dev/cdrom don't yet exist.
The best fix would be to wait for udev to finish creating the different devices
before running the ltsp script.
A workaround is to add a "sleep 1" in the initrd script which then give enough
time to udev to do its job.

** Affects: ltsp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
