Oh, I managed to resolve the problem. Aparently this behaviour came from the fact that I had installed the Elisa media center from Fluendo's Ubuntu archives, and the elisa-extra package installed the python-coherence package as well. With this package installed, Rhythmbox aparently would not start. I just removed this package, and I can now hear my music again.
So I guess the bug is not in Ubuntu, but rather the Fluendo packages. -- Rhythmbox fails to start from Coherence segmentation fault https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152927 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
