Mmm that is strange.. This bios version ahould fix the problem. Then you should try with i8042.dumbkbd on /etc/default/grub and then execute the command sudo update-grub This parameter fix the problem but disables LED
PS: are you sure that the new version was correctly installed? Check inside the bios menu what is the bios version.
