Charles: so you dist-upgraded before ubuntu3 was in the archive, that's why you are hit by this bug. Ubuntu Studio has probably nothing to do with it. You can do something like what Zach said, but that would be great if at least two people would wait until ubuntu4.1 is accepted into gutsy-proposed in order to be able to provide the feedback needed for it to be pushed to gutsy-updates.
