I was unable to reproduce the bug in my environment and 4.4.0-67 boots fine for me. I can perform a bisect if you can test some kernels.
I started a kernel bisect between v4.4.0-66 and v4.4.0-67. The kernel bisect will require testing of about 7-10 test kernels. I built the first test kernel, up to the following commit: df0a1b9cce531e1718dbb966b1e0075b3667598f The test kernel can be downloaded from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1674635 Can you test that kernel and report back if it has the bug or not?
