Regarding Elan touchpad problem and interrupts registered against that
device, I'm attaching here "cat /proc/interrupts" in which among other
things I can see something related to:

- ELAN1203:00
- idma64.0, i2c_designware.0
- idma64.1, i2c_designware.1

How can I check if Intel pin control driver being used on this platform
is built into the kernel, not a module?

By the way, there's a lot of talking on Google related to touchpads and 
intel-lpss, for example:
"Canonical found several I2C touchpad couldn't work on OEM SKL machines once 
they enable intel-lpss driver"
