The miro guide works for me here. Does apport pop up asking whether you
want to report a crash? If it does, the information it can add to your
bug report is very useful. If it doesn't, can you check whether there's
a miro crash file in /var/crash, and attach that if it exists.
Also could you add the output of running dpkg -l 'miro*' in a terminal?
