The bug is related to a wrong combination of transparency and gradients.
I discovered how to solve the problem on the fly and keep using gradients.
Select the shape and edit the Area properties (FORMAT->AREA). 
>From the tab AREA select FILL as GRADIENT.
>From the tab GRADIENT set the properties that you prefer.
>From the tab TRANSPARENCY make sure that the "NO TRANSPARENCY" radio button is 
>selected (is this that should create problems!!)
Press OK.
That's worked for me.
