The effects of this bug are seen when compiling and using Krusader (for example 
using Ubuntu 16.04), and also, for example, when using the Krusader package of 
Ubuntu 17.04:
If a user utilizes F3 to see an image... that image is not seen. If the preview 
of Krusader is used, the user can't see the image.

Everything works if other distributions are used. Strangely...
everything works if Kubuntu is used; that might give some clue.
