Hi, It seems that Gutsy uses gnome-screensaver (please correct me if I'm wrong), but the /usr/share/acpi-support/screenblank still uses xscreensaver.
I also observed that /etc/acpi-support/lid.sh stops after CheckPolicy. Commenting out the CheckPolicy line and replacing xscreensaver with gnome-screensaver makes screen locking work again. Is my fix okey, or is there some other mechanism which is supposed to lock the screen when the lid is closed? -- "screen lock" button no longer locks screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
