I have also have a Logitech m560 and found this page useful https://blogs.ethz.ch/daesters/2015/10/24/customize-mouse-m560-on-linux/ If you want to use the sideways movement of the wheel for browser forward and back, instead of the lateral buttons, just replace the 10 and 11 with 6 and 7.
